Landmark TAFE course for HarbourKeepers & CoastKeepers
Through a combination of classroom theory and outdoor practical work students will learn about:
There is a strong emphasis on field trips and outdoor practical work during this course. Students will learn about marine and coastal ecology and impacts on several field trips including to Narrabeen Lagoon and Long Reef. You will also take part in practical bush regeneration and tree planting events. There are two streams to the course; Coastal Stream and Marine Stream. Students studying the Marine Stream will be able to include HarbourKeepers & CoastKeepers Fish Survey training as part of their course provided they meet diver prerequisites.
