Who created CoastKeepers?

Who created CoastKeepers?

CoastKeepers was created by NPA~Marine, the marine sector of the National Parks Association of NSW (NPA), a leading state conservation group.

NPA is the largest member-based conservation organisation in the state and has earned an outstanding reputation and achieved many significant conservation outcomes over its near 50 year history.

With 19 branches, over 5000 members and more than 500 active volunteers, NPA works at the statewide, regional and local level to play a leading role in conservation in NSW.

NPA~Marine works to improve community understanding and active participation in marine conservation issues through events, new initiatives and direct campaign work.

CoastKeepers was launched by NPA~Marine on World Environment Day, June 4th 2005 at Port Stephens on the NSW mid north coast.
